You can bind your enemy

Matthew 18:18, states " I tell you the truth, whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven." According to the scripture You and I are the ones doing the binding. According to dictionary.com to bind means "to fasten around; fix in place by girding: They bound his hands behind him." Another word for bind is confine or restrain. Now how does a person bind the enemy? When the voice of the accuser starts beating on you and telling you something like, "God is angry with you for your sin" after you have already prayed and repented and asked for forgiveness and cleansing. You can now bind the enemy with the word of God by saying, " Satan, I bind you with the scripture in PS 103: 12 states that "as far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions." and I John 1:9 states," If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness." I bind you Satan with the word of God you now have no claims on my life, past present or future. I am forgiven. The other cool part is loosing. I often pray prayers like, "I loose the Holy Spirit to have active free reign in my life today. I loose warring angels on my behalf, ministering and protecting angels on behalf of my me and my family. It will go well with me today no matter how rough my situation." By loosing I'm giving God free reign in my life to help me hear what he needs me to hear, loose health and healing to my body and peace and soundness to my mind. I know this may sound a little weird if you haven't fought much spiritual warfare; but suffice it when I say the spiritual world knows exactly whats happening when a Christian rises up and takes their place by binding and loosing.
