Hey All! Thanks for the emails about me "not blogging." Of course i have reasons and excuses; but who needs them. I'm in the studio recording my first cd/album. Im excited and stoked! I think we have some good songs that turn your eyes toward the Father. Hi All, I have been busy just like all you! man does the time fly. I have been working with publishers and writing and recording in the studio and being an ER Director. In response to some of you; The answer is yes I do sleep. Thanks you for your email of encouragements and checking me out on facebook etc. I havent even begun to tap into all the ways to use facebook, my space, twitter...by the way if I use twitter does that make me a "twit"? Nevermind dont answer that. I have been reading some great things in God's word and will blog about them very soon. Keep checking back. Love you all. Howard |

This coming weekend I will join the multitude of proud parents who watch thier children graduate. Our daughter Jacqueline will graduate with her Masters Degree from Cornell University in Ithaca New York. Jacqueline is the epitomy of how you are supposed to do things. She developed a work ethic that is admirable. She finished her undergrad degree in Chemistry in 3-1/2 years. She missed a semester do to a ruptured appendix and still graduated on time. More recently She was also an assistant coach for the Team that won the New York State Science Fair Competition at West Point New York. She has been hired to teach earth sciences at a middle school in the Syracuse New York area. I couldnt be more proud of her. Not just because she is my daughter but because she endured. In Colossians 1:10-12 it is written, "10And we pray this in order that you may live a life worthy of the Lord and may please him in every way: bearing fruit in every good work, growing in the knowledge of God, 11being strengthened with all power according to his glorious might so that you may have great endurance and patience, and joyfully 12giving thanks to the Father, who has qualified you to share in the inheritance of the saints in the kingdom of light." Jacqueline lives her life centered on the faith of Jesus Christ that has sustained her and now it has paid off! She is living a life worthy of her calling from the Lord. Thank You Jacqueline for being a great daughter and a good friend! You truly are a "'Lady of Beauty" May God Keep you safe and Bless Your Future! |

I like to celebrate "seasons." I think Mother's day should be Mother's week! My profession of nursing is made up statisically of 97-98% women. I have made up my mind that the 2 hardest jobs on the face of the earth are: 1. Single Mom families and 2. Just being a Mom. I thank God that he gave us women who have the heart of a mom and love thier children enough to lay thier lives down for them. For you single Mom's I want to thank you for the hard work and efforts and love that you so often give that continue to go unrewarded. I do beleive when it is all said and done you will recieve a greater reward. God is watching and he knows your heart and pains and he hasn't forgotten all the good you do and are doing! I applaud you! Happy Mother's day week! |
