Unless the Lord
Builds the House
As I was learning the difference between being a disciple and a christian, the Lord brought to my mind Ps 127. He reminded me that he wanted me involved in what he was doing and not just for me to include him in what I was doing. There are a lot of us who include God in what we are doing but even fewer of us who are involved in what he is actually doing. Unless the Lord Builds the House was written to refresh you and inspire you to turn to the Master Builder of life and learn how to relate to Him as well as learning what the Master Builder expects. Many practical tools were added to help you build a strong foundation for your life and career. Many of us need to learn more about relating, listening, understanding and yielding to the Master Builder as well as what he expects, and how he desires to invest in you by imparting in you the desires of your heart and how to successfully build them. If you are looking to be refreshed and perhaps challenged, then this is the book for you. The Master Builder of this life has your best interest in mind. Psalm 127: 1 “Unless the Lord builds the house it’s builders labor in vain…”

Scripture Cards
John1:1 states, “In the beginning was the word, and the word was with God, and the word was God.” Revelation 1:8 states, “I am the Alpha and Omega the beginning and the end…” It all begins with Jesus and it all ends with Jesus. Unless you know the word you may not have all the weapons and tools necessary to fight the good fight of faith. Proverbs 17:16 states, “Of what use is money in the hands of a fool since he has no desire to get wisdom.”
In the same way of thought Howard asks, “Of what use is a weapon in your hand if you don’t know how to use it?” Ephesians 6:17 states, “Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the spirit, which is the word of God.”
As Christians we have to take it. When Jesus was tempted by Satan he responded with “It is written.” Jesus used the written word as his weapon. Howard has compiled this notebook of 3*5 cards with scriptures ranging from Praise to Spiritual warfare so you can train yourself to use the weapon of the word of God and gain victory in your life. This is a powerful tool for those wanting to learn, pray and memorize the word.
